Pooch Pals provides dog walking and drop-in care for cats, chickens, and small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. All services focus on individual care, safety, and routine.
Dog Walking
Dogs are walked solo by default.
They may be walked together only if:
- They live in the same household, or
- They are compatible dogs that live close to each other and are approved in advance
Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first.
Walks are usually 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your booking and your dog’s needs.
Dogs are walked on lead unless written permission is given and it is safe to do so.
Please let us know about any health conditions, training needs, or behavioural concerns so we can tailor the walk accordingly.
No. Pooch Pals does not offer overnight stays or in-home pet sitting. All services are scheduled walks or drop-in visits.
Cat Care
Our drop-in cat visits can include:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Litter tray cleaning
- Medication (if fully explained in advance)
- Companionship and welfare checks
Chicken Care
Chicken care visits may include:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Letting chickens in and out of coops
- Basic coop checks and cleaning
- General welfare checks
Small Animal Care (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs & Similar)
We offer drop-in care for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals, including:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Cleaning hutches or enclosures
- Spot cleaning and bedding changes
- General health and welfare checks
Care is tailored to each animal’s routine.

Visits outside these areas may incur additional travel costs.

Yes. All new clients receive a free meet-and-greet before services begin.
Bookings can be made by phone or message. We’ll discuss your needs and arrange a meet-and-greet before confirming services.
Yes! We’re happy to provide photos and updates after visits or walks.
